Welcome to our class page!
My name is Lori Shibles and I will be your child's third grade teacher this year. I have taught various grades within the K-5 range. I taught for 12 years in Freeport before deciding to stay home when my children were young. After 6 years of being home, I returned to teaching. I shared a 1st grade position in Cumberland for two years until I came here to WPS for a full time position in 2012. I live in Cumberland with my husband and we have two daughters, Elizabeth and Megan. I look forward to getting to know your children and helping them to have a great 3rd grade year!
Wow, what a few years it has been so far! First of all, please know that I will do everything in my power to make your child's year be a successful and enjoyable third grade year. I strive to have your children feel happy, comfortable and safe, feel free to ask questions, share worries, create empathetic and trusting friendships, take small risks and... develop an interest and excitement in their learning.

School Hours:
Fall 2022
Our school day begins at 8:20 and ends at 2:42 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Recess and Lunch are from 12:40-1:20.
