hi everyone my name is Savannah Wright and I want to welcome you to our second grade concert hikes Hills and harmonies we are so excited to share the hard work and dedication of our students with you tonight hello my name is Mary Reid um I'm here to um thank you all for coming um thank our teachers and our admin for supporting us through this concert um we honestly couldn't do it without them especially our teachers they took a lot of time practicing in class um we sent them a bunch of videos and they just know these songs just as well as the kids do so thank you so much for supporting us guys we really appreciate it and my name's Patty Gordon I'm also a music teacher at Windham primary and my job is give you the housekeeping details uh please silence or turn off your cell phones we are recording the concert so you don't have to watch it through your phone because there'll be a nice recording on the our shoe website right and just note where the exits are we won't need them but just in case thank you and my name is Mary fencer I am a student teacher here from USM um we like to thank you all for being here and enjoy the show hikes Hills and harmonies the all the all the and all that to know that he can see as a man ready for an Austrian wind yodeling let's do it ready today yeah so our next song is an echo song so I'll sing and they will Echo so I'm going to turn this around so everybody can hear me oh in the woods there was a tree there was a tree the pretty little tree tree now in the past now now the pretty little thing I want that there was something there was a fuk there was a that will now on there was a the prettiest little jerk now there was smile it seems and our next collection is our next collection is hiking chant and they all know it so this summer if you ever go for a high special on a a dirt road something you don't have to really wash your feet dry it while you're hiking is really a long time all right ready 1 2 3 right uh-huh I love it now the power I love again I love the that was so awesome for you guys and information that was around which is something that is really hard to do with a small class so we see classes about 18 to 20 kids and it's really hard to do it when it was like 10 so we like we can do this it'll be great but we didn't practice it until today so so thank you very much so next on our hiking trip oh we're going to do math later okay um so on our trip when you're in the mountains sometimes the weather can be very unpredictable so we're asking about some rain you guys ready and in a minute when we're done with the rain you guys are going to help us by creating rainstorm okay so I'm going to go I talked to all the second graders earlier they know exactly what to do but that means that you guys need to help us create the rainstorm are you guys ready for audience participation all right now we're going to sing Our Song I'm going to walk around and I'm going to do an activity with all of them and when I point to you it's your turn to start you ready okay here we go he's doing what you're doing you're not okay so second graders we have 1 more song I know um so we have 1 more song for you this was a tricky song this is a long song and a lot of you probably know it um it is called so I'm trying to get my shoulders but if you would like to welcome Mr L Grant so we're here at guitar it was really really awesome to get to work with Mr Loren and he sent us a recording so we can practice with it he's here at herself today and I'm sure you all can we all say everything thank you Mr Grand again ready to go all right here we go ready second that was amazing you build out a lot
