Dear Families of WPS,
Looking forward to seeing you all next week! Here are some friendly reminders about the first week of school. We need your help to make it a smooth as possible start for your children!
· Grades 1-3 will attend Tuesday through Friday.
· Kindergarten families meet teachers on either 9/3 or 9/4. The times vary and it is an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and complete necessary paperwork. Please contact your child’s teacher or the office if you have any questions about the format.
· Kindergartener starts either 9/5 or 9/6 with only half of the class coming on each of the days.
Very important about busses
As usual for the start of the school year, it will take a few days for the school to return to a normal routine. We are asking for your help with confirming bus drop-off locations.
Please put in writing and give to your child’s teacher the name and address where your children will be dropped off during the week and on early release Wednesdays. This will help us ensure that they are going to the correct drop-off location. On the bus note, please do not list the bus number as it may be different from last year.
Parent-Visitor Parking
If you plan to park and walk your child to an entrance door, please park in the A-House parking lot or the upper B-house parking lot.
Please refrain from parking in the C-House Staff Lot and the Staff B-House Lot closest to the school.
