Friendly Reminder about Food Use at WPS

I wanted to remind our Windham Primary School families that we are unable to accept unsolicited food for classrooms. This includes candy attached to Valentines cards. While we appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity, we need to be attentive to the large number of students in our building who are presently impacted by food allergies. Teachers may request families at times for specific food items for a learning activity. Items in these situations have been screened by our school nurse to ensure that the food/activity is safe for our students. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and your continued support of Windham Primary School.
