An Odyssey of the Mind Team from RSU14 made up of 7 children from Manchester and WPS came in first place for their division at the Nor'easter Tournament in mid-March. That qualified them to be invited to Michigan State University to compete at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals. They were with teams from all over the world in a four-day tournament packed with competitions, a creativity festival, and their long-time tradition of pin trading. For their first appearance at World Finals, they did amazing! Of the 67 teams in their problem and division, they came in 23rd place. They also got the best spontaneous score out of all the Maine teams competing.
