About Miss. Mannette

I live close by with my Fiancé. We are getting married in June! We love spending time with our family and close friends. I am so excited to become an auntie to a sweet little niece in October! We spend most of our time at Sebago Lake in the summer. I also enjoy running, cooking, and binging a good Netflix show!

I graduated from Windham High School in 2017, and The University of Southern Maine in 2021. I have taught kindergarten for 4 years, going on my 5th year now. I love watching my students grow each day, and building strong connections.

Information About the Classroom:

We are located in C house, in classroom 122C on the first floor.

Academics: We will work on early literacy skills such as letter ID, letter sounds, CVC reading, and dive into early leveled texts books. We will gain a strong number sense through our iReady math program. We will focus on social skills throughout the year, and will enjoy some fun crafts and activities along the way!

Toys: Please do not let children bring toys from home in their backpack, unless it is a special day notified by me.

Red Folders: These will be sent back and forth EVERY DAY. Work from the classroom, notes, important info, etc. will all be found in this folder each day.

SeeSaw: This in app that is very helpful for quick communication between us. You will also see some fun pictures, and updates in the classroom on here as well.

Schedule: Wednesdays are early release, dismissal starts at 12:45. All other days are a full day day and dismissal starts at 2:40. We have a special each day (except Wednesday) those are art, gym, music, and library. We have snack time and lunch time each day, breakfast is also optional in the morning upon arrival. Sending a snack each day is important, although there are extras here if one is forgotten.
