About Me

Welcome to School!  My name is Mrs. Laura Record.  I am very excited to be the behavior specialist at our school!  I like to call myself the problem solving teacher.  I do in-class and pull-out interventions focusing on social, emotional, executive functioning and behavioral needs.  I also go into classrooms and teach whole class lessons about expected school behavior and friendship skills.  I also oversee lunch and recess.

I have been at WPS since 2012!  I started as a kindergarten teacher and made the shift to behavior specialist in 2022.

 

In the summer I enjoy kayaking, reading, and going on adventures with my family.  I have 3 children, Riley (19), Kelsey (16) and Colin (14).  We spent a lot of time at our family camp swimming and taking hikes.
