About Me:
I'm thrilled to start another year at Windham Primary School. I have taught both 2nd and 3rd grade over the past 18 years. I'm lucky to live and work in Windham with my husband (who also teaches here) and our two children. My son will begin 7th grade at Windham Middle School this year and our daughter will be going into 5th grade at Manchester.
I work with an amazing team that includes Ms. Poirier, Mrs. Kaplinger along with various volunteers and other support staff. We work together to meet the needs of all the learners in our learning community.
I feel fortunate to have two jobs at our school. Along with teaching, I work as an Instructional Leader where I work closely with Dr. Rhoads and Mrs. Jordan on our Leadership Team to support students and staff at WPS.
Some things to look forward to this year:
- STEAM projects
- Morning Meetings and direct social skills instruction including mindset, perseverance and conflict resolution to help build strong classroom community and interpersonal skills.
- Technology integrated into lessons and activities
- Guided Reading Instruction
- Writing Units of Study
- Ready Math
- And much more!
When I'm not at school, I love doing anything outside with my friends and family. We love biking, fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing, and enjoying time in the mountains, ocean, or lakes.
